Employee Benefits Account Associate (Recent College Graduate)

Location: Rockville, MD


Potomac Companies, a boutique insurance brokerage and Human Capital Management (HCM) firm, is looking for a recent college graduate to join our Employee Benefits Account Management team. You know how to work hard and smart, and you’re hungry to learn. If you can be taught something once, grasp it, and own it, then we will teach you. And, you must be nice.

Position requirements include:

1. College degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA (preferably higher)
2. Technology skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Excel a plus)
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
4. Strong interpersonal skills
5. Self-starter
6. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
7. Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail
8. Must strive to exceed expectations
9. Knowledge of MS Dynamics CRM a plus


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support account management team
  • Learn all facets of account management and the health insurance world
  • Become licensed within first six months
